Oregon’s midterms
have some serious human rights
issues on the ballot.
We’re worried this shit might
actually pass (remember 2016?),
so we all need to vote.
All of us.
Kate Brown passed the super amazing Reproductive Health Equity Act. She’s committed to accessible healthcare, safe schools for kids, closing the education gap for lower-income children, and immigrant protections. Buehler is pretending to be a centrist, but his track record on civil liberties and reproductive rights sucks. This race is too close.
Measure 105 is brought to you by two certified hate groups (per the Southern Poverty Law Center). That’s no joke. It would trash our existing sanctuary state status…you know, the thing that protects Oregonians from unfair racial profiling. If we lose this, state resources will be used for all the wrong things, like needlessly separating families. We won’t stand for that.
For now, Oregonians have the right to an affordable, accessible and judgment free abortion. We’ve worked hard to pass the most progressive reproductive health policies in the country. Measure 106 strips the right to choose from anyone on the Oregon Health Plan, i.e. poor people, public employees, institutionalized people, and more.
Oregonians who have a driver’s license are registered automatically. Check to make sure your address and other details are current.
